My fine arts background intuitively informs my photography. I treat every image like a canvas, every subject like a muse and as a result, I create truly iconic, photojournalistic images. I work with my clients to portray beautiful, authentic, emotive documentary-style pictorials. I am also an expert photo retoucher with vast experience working on notable magazine covers and fashion campaigns. Having experience as a model, photographer and retoucher, I am able to bring out the best in my photographs, realizing the vision of every image from origination to completion.
The short of it: I studied Studio Art and Photography and graduated with a BA from FAU. I did not just pick up a camera. I studied the true craft of taking photos. Once I graduated I found my niche in weddings. Wedding photography is not for everybody; However, If you have a passion for it and the personality then you will love it and fit right in. I LOVE MY JOB EVERY DAY. Other than photography I find myself outdoors a lot, chasing my five dogs and roaming at our local beaches and parks, soaking up that warm Florida weather.

Ms. Colmenares is a Boston and South Florida based photographer. She Studied at the England School of Photography and Documentary at the Cambridge Learning Center where she expanded my knowledge in courses such as Lighting and Portraiture Photography. Gabriela spent years as a documentary-style professional photographer shooting fine art, editorial and wedding photography. She has a unique ability to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera, allowing her to capture joyful and intimate moments in a way that always feels fun and relaxed.

From when I was young I was always an adventurer, wanting to experience the diverse and vibrant faucets of life! Over 3 years ago I indulged in the explorer side of me and made the big move halfway across the world from Bolivia to South Florida. Needless to say, it was a barrage of different sights, smells, and experiences! I soon found that the city hummed with so many cultures, backgrounds, and identities that all had one common yet powerful tie: love.
I have had the incredible honor of capturing not only American but also Korean, Indian, Italian, Irish, and Chinese weddings. Each story was so unique and touching, there are so many moments of vulnerability, elation, and togetherness. Even after over 100 weddings, I still find myself tearing up and my heart swelling from the joyous celebration of pure love.

My father had a passion for photography, though he was a Nikon man he loved to teach my sister and me about all things lighting. His favorite thing to do was grab extra colored film and pair that with an external flash and long shutter speed to create colorful night time scenes filled with light trails. This sparked a love of photography in me that got a dim when I found graphic design in college.
After graduation I quickly got a job as a Digital Specialist for a dining contractor in High Point, NC. Here I not only was in charge of all social and digital media, but also the programs food and product photography. I quickly came to the realization that I am in fact a Canon girl and not Nikon, sorry dad! But, nevertheless I fell in love with photography. I quickly learned this is what I wanted to do with my life.

Originally born in the Ukraine, Anna came to the United States at the young age of 4 years old. Despite having Cuban roots from her father and Ukrainian roots from her mother, Anna quickly adapted to the diverse culture of Miami and excelled, not only academically in school but also in the numerous activities she was a part of. In her adolescent years she was in the Miss Florida Pageant, where she won the prize of Most Photogenic. She was also a proud member of the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, a team she holds close to her heart. Go Fins!
Anna Noriega attended the University of Miami, where she graduated with honors & a BS degree in Psychology & Marketing. After graduation she held a prestigious position at The Fisher Island Hotel & Resort, where she spear headed the Event Sales & Hotel Marketing team.
Her talents there brought her to work with Jordache where she became Regional Sales & Marketing Director and the brains behind many of the Jordache Miami Sun Hotel Groups new ventures such as Hotel Victor & Hotel Breakwater’s visual collateral and entire wedding and event concepts.
Anna speaks four languages and enjoys spending her free time with her family in the warm sunny Miami weather, engaging in pretty much any outdoor activity.
She is proud to say that her hard work as well as social connections and past engagements have given her the opportunity to be featured on several TV shows such as, MTV Movie Awards, BET Source Awards, Design on a Dime, Making the Squad, FINS TV, Channel 10, Ambush Makeover, Deco Drive, & HDTV.

After graduating from high school, I went to PB Cosmetology School where I graduated with my full cosmetology license. Makeup art has always been a passion of mine and it never feels like work. I love helping beautiful people feel more confident. I’m an artist at heart and people are my favorite canvas. I have been in the business doing makeup for 15 years and truly love what I do.
